FC 27 Player Career Rivalries Explained
In FC 27 Player Career, fans will often set you up for Rivalries against other AI players.
Your behavior on the pitch and personal league achievements will determine your rival.
Generally, they'll be footballers who play in the same or a similar role to yours. Sometimes these rivals will be tougher, much higher-rated players.
Other times, it'll be an even contest.
Rivalries give you new performance-based objectives to be met.
Per the latest deep dive, there are two main types of Rivalry Objectives:
- Performing better than your Rival in certain areas within upcoming matches
- For example: Whoever gets more assists in the next 5 matches wins.
- Getting to a specific number of achievements before your opponent
- For example: Whoever is first to score a hat-trick wins.
Depending on your position, personal achievements, and time of the Season, different types of Objectives will be available for the Rivalries.
Getting the better of your rival will give you Personality Points. They'll be distributed among all types of Personality equally. Meanwhile, Inconclusive Rivalries will award you with half of the default rewards.
All of this will also spill over on social media in-game. They'll sing your praise if you win or call you an absolute daft if you can't get the better of your opponent.
