FC 27 Deep Dive Schedule: Gameplay, Career Mode & Open World Dates

EA formally revealed FC 27 last week with a trailer that provided a good hint at what's in store for gameplay, Career, and the brand-new The Grounds open world. 

From the early looks, it doesn't appear much has changed. But that opinion can change once EA shares more details. The upcoming deep dives should break down all the major changes heading to the game. 

Here is when all the deep dives for FC 27 will be shown. 

FC 27 Deep Dive Schedule

EA has confirmed that the first Gameplay Deep Dive for FC 27 will be on July 29, 2026, at 4:57 PM BST, 8:57 AM PT. 

Per rumors, here are the dates for the remaining ones:

  • Career Mode: 31st July
  • Ultimate Team: 2nd August
  • FC The Grounds: 4th August

Each of the deep dives should begin at the same time as the gameplay one. EA already confirmed the months for the deep dives, although the exact dates were not revealed. 

Each of them should provide an in-depth look at what has changed and any potential new features. For gameplay, the focus will be on AI defense rebalancing, improved attacking spatial awareness, intelligent curved runs, and more.

We expect just neat little additions and tweaks. Earlier leaks for Ultimate Team hinted at point-based SBCs, holographic cards, and multi-path single Evolutions. 

The Collection Book was already confirmed in the reveal as Gallery. We should hear more details about it on the deep dives. 

Of all four breakdowns, The Grounds should be the beefiest. We do not know the finer details of the mode, like progression and how it affects Pro Clubs. 

Open-world modes in sports games, like NBA 2K's The City and WWE 2K's The Island, have been absolute disappointments.

We haven't seen anything particularly positive about The Grounds either, but we will have to reserve judgment until after the deep dive.
