The FC 26 Standard Edition cover will reportedly feature not one but two footballing stars, with leaks suggesting that Jude Bellingham and Jamal Musiala will be the faces of the franchise's latest entry.
Having appeared as the FC 25 cover star, previous reports suggested Bellingham was a nailed-on inclusion for a second year running, but the addition of Musiala will come as a nice surprise for fans, who haven't had a double cover inclusion since FIFA 16.
FC 26 Cover Stars Leaked
Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham and Bayern Munich's Jamal Musiala are set to become the cover stars of FC 26, according to reputable leakers Fut Scoreboard and ASY FUT.
The midfield duo will reportedly form as part of a double cover appearance on the Standard Edition of the game, which hasn't happened since FIFA 16, when Lionel Messi was joined by another player on a variant cover decided by a regional vote.
After establishing himself as one of the most talented young players in the world for both club and country, many will agree that Jamal Musiala's inclusion as a cover star is fully deserved. It does come at an unfortunate time for the German international, however, with the 22-year-old suffering a fracture of the fibula and a broken and dislocated ankle during the Club World Cup.
Musiala is now expected to be out of action for several months and will still be recovering when FC 26 likely drops in September.
News of the Standard Edition cover stars comes after further reliable leaks revealed Zlatan Ibrahimovic will feature on the FC 26 Ultimate Edition. Despite his illustrious career, during which he scored over 570 goals and won 34 trophies, the Swede has never appeared on the cover of any of EA's FIFA titles.
