FIFA 22 is up and running, so we have now seen all the new features in action.
This is set to be the best edition of FIFA ever and there are plenty of changes to get used to.

Latest - Featured Team of the Week
One of the biggest new additions to Ultimate Team this season is a new version of the Team of the Week cards.
To try and keep them relevant for more of the year, EA has brought Featured TOTW cards.
These cards will earn a bigger boost than regular TOTW items and this new overall rating will be what is boosted for future performance-based upgrades.

The base card must be rated 80 OVR or below to qualify for this, making lesser rated players that are performing well in real life more useful in game.
Brentford striker Ivan Toney was awarded the first of these cards in Team of the Week 1, while Lazio and Brazil winger Felipe Anderson was TOTW 2's featured star.
Release Date
After months of speculation, EA announced that FIFA 22 will be released on Friday, 1 October 2021.
Early Access became available from Monday, 27 September for those who ordered the Ultimate Edition of the game.

Ones to Watch confirmed
EA has confirmed that David Alaba will be a Ones to Watch player for the coming FUT 22 season.

He received a rating of 84 OVR, making him one of La Liga's top defenders.
