FIFA 22 is the first in franchise history to be fully optimised for next-gen consoles, so it looks insane.
It doesn't just look great though, as there are loads of new features available for both the next-gen and current-gen versions of the game.
Release Date
EA's latest edition of FIFA was released on Friday, 1 October 2021.
Early Access became available from Monday, 27 September - with the EA Play Trial going live on Wednesday, 22 September.

The reveal trailer has got fans hyped for the upcoming release, featuring cover star Kylian Mbappe, along with top talents Trent Alexander-Arnold and Christian Pulisic.
The trailer gives us an idea of how EA will Hypermotion Technology to implement real-life player movements into FIFA 22 gameplay.

VOLTA reveal
VOLTA Football was the final game mode to be revealed in the run-up to FIFA 22, and there are loads of new ways to enjoy your street football this season.

All-new Skill Meter
FIFA Street is back baby! VOLTA's Skill Meter is certainly a throwback to the 'Gamebreaker' system we used to love on the original FIFA Street game.
But how does it work? The Skill Meter will increase by completing the following:
- Making a fancy pass fills up the bar by 100
- A successful wall pass awards 200
- Beating an opponent using a Skill Move is 300
- Nutmeg an opponent for 800
- Dispossessing the other team awards 100.
Signature Abilities
Another brand-new feature for this season, we can't wait to try them out!
Power Strike
Deliver a 50% Shot Power boost to your player that can exceed the 99 limits to regular attributes.
This ability has a 30-second duration and 80-second cooldown period, so make sure to get your shots off!
Pure Pace
Much like the Power Strike, the Pure Pace ability will exceed the usual ratings limit, although the exact boost is not revealed.
Burn past defenders with ease for the 15-second duration, but there is a 70-second cooldown period.
Aggressive Tackle
Unleash hell with the Aggressive Tackle ability as you won't get called for fouls despite delivering bone-shuddering shoulder barges and devastating tackles.
This ability can be used for 45 seconds, but has a 90-second cooldown period.
VOLTA Arcade
Enjoy whole new ways to play in VOLTA Football with the new party games to enjoy with your friends.
There are eight games set to be made available at launch, with more to come throughout the season!
