EA might have to do a lot more convincing this time to restore confidence in FC 27. They played the "we're listening" card last time, and following a decent start, they went the complete opposite post-launch. 

It's a familiar story every year. Pre-release is the most promising a new title ever looks, with trailers and marketing doing a lot of lifting. 

We're approaching FUTTIES for FC 26. That means the announcement and pre-release marketing for the next title should start very soon. But when exactly? 

When Will FC 27 Be Revealed?

There is no definitive leaked or confirmed date for the official reveal of FC 27. However, if you follow the past pattern, the game should have been formally announced with a reveal trailer by now.

July 17 was when FC 25 was first revealed. Similarly, the trailer for FC 26 was released on July 16. Both of which are on Wednesdays in mid-July. Trailers are also usually revealed around 5 PM BST, 9 AM PT.

In the E3 era long ago, the reveal used to be in June when the events were held, but that has now clearly changed.

Leaks first heavily hinted the game would be announced on July 13, 2026, but that hasn't been the case. A new rumor for FUT Agent suggests that FC 27 will now be revealed after the World Cup ends.

EA may announce the game right on the World Cup final or a day before it. There is no knowing when. However, following the delay, it is likely the game will be revealed next week.

Everything Leaked About FC 27 So Far

Below are all major leaked details for FC 27:

  • Gameplay feels like FC 26 pre-patch.
  • A new feature called "Gallery." It works similarly to the Collection Book feature we had in early games, where you send cards of players you've collected and get rewards for finishing each section.
  • Evolutions will have multiple path choices.
  • You can now use duplicate cards in the same solution for SBCs.
  • Every card will have a certain amount of "SBC Points." Instead of general overall requirements, SBCs may come with point requirements.
  • Alex Hunter will be part of the long-rumored open-world mode. 
  • New holographic cards and new Hall of Fame rarity cards will be introduced. 

Outside of these, expect all the usual refinements (on paper) and some new gameplay quirks. Of course, more ICONs and Heroes will also join the game.

The last Friday of September is generally the full release date. So, September 25, 2026, could be when the game will be released.
