The recently aired FC 27 reveal trailer unveiled gameplay changes, improvements to Career Mode, and officially introduced The Grounds mode. But that's not everything coming to FC 27.
FC 27 will also see a brand-new rarity added to the Ultimate Team that'll sit right beside the Heroes and ICONs.
Unlike the other two, where the title depended on how illustrious a player's real career was, Hall of FUT puts the focus on the Ultimate Team performance.
Think of players who were strangely powerful for one reason or another despite not being rated highly.

FC 27 Hall of FUT Explained
FC 27 Hall of FUT is a new card that'll celebrate the players who have left a mark on Ultimate Team history. Players who didn't have careers worthy of Hero or ICON status will be the ones making the cut.
You'll see cards of relatively unpopular players that were stupidly powerful in past games. Be it for their pace, physicality, or the fact that they perform great regardless of what their attributes suggested.
You can get Hall of FUT cards the same way as any other player items. That is through packs, SBCs, Objectives, and other rewards. They should be among the many promo releases as well.

- Giovani dos Santos
If you pre-order the limited-time $149.99 Ultimate Plus Edition, you'll get a 1 of 5 Hall of FUT Direct Player Pick that'll let you choose among the above five players.
Of course, there will be more Hall of FUT players. EA said additional inductees will be announced later.
