It's shaping up to be an exciting few months for football fans, with FC 26 on the horizon and the summer transfer window intensifying.
Hundreds, if not thousands, of players are expected to switch clubs this summer, many of whom include exciting wonderkids who will no doubt have a huge role to play in Career Mode saves when FC 26 arrives.
With that in mind, we've decided to pick out a few standout names who could be—or have been—on the move ahead of FC 26.
FC 26 Wonderkids on the Move
One of the best and most satisfying parts of any Career Mode save is developing highly rated youngsters who have bags of potential before turning them into world-class players.

Whether you develop from within or splash the cash to acquire their services, wonderkids will continue to play an important role for managers in FC 26, and some will be repping new colors when the season gets underway.
Estevao will be one of them, with the current Palmeiras winger expected to join Chelsea imminently. The forward, nicknamed 'Messinho', was previously missing from the game due to the Brazilian League not being officially licensed, but his $39m move to the Premier League will finally make him available to use.
Meanwhile, fellow South American Franco Mastantuono has also moved clubs, joining Real Madrid from River Plate for around $45m. Unlike Estevao, Mastantuono did feature in FC 25, becoming a popular pick for managers looking to add one of the best young talents in the game.

Another forward who has already been on the move this summer is Greek international Charalampos Kostoulas. At just 18 years of age, the striker has swapped Olympiakos for Premier League outfit Brighton & Hove Albion for $40m. Like Mastantuono, Kostoulas established himself as a popular Career Mode pick in FC 25, with his cheap value and 87 potential too good to ignore.
Turning our attention to players who are yet to move this summer, Jorrel Hato is one of the first names that comes to mind. The 19-year-old Ajax defender has been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea for some time now, but a move is yet to materialize. We expect that to change soon, however, and it would be no surprise to see him become one of the best young centre-backs in FC 26.
Someone else who many expected to have already completed a move to Europe is Rosenborg's Sverre Nypan. Dubbed 'the next Martin Odegaard', Nypan was reportedly close to leaving for either the Premier League or La Liga in January before opting to stay until the end of the season. Manchester City are now said to be ahead of Arsenal and Aston Villa in the race for the midfielder, who provided 18 goal contributions in 2024.

As an Arsenal fan, it pains me to write this, but until a new contract is signed, Ethan Nwaneri is one to keep an eye on. Various reports have suggested that the England U21 international wants guarantees over game time at the Emirates before putting pen to paper, with Chelsea ready to pounce should both parties fail to reach an agreement.
These are just some of the names for Career Mode fans to monitor heading into FC 26, with many more expected to become the topic of transfer speculation over the coming weeks.
