A month-long FUTTIES is now the last major promo left before FC 25 blows the final whistle. Past it, the focus will completely be on the next installment.
We'll likely get a pre-season that'll allow us to carry some rewards to FC 26, but with EA, most of them won't be anything worth stressing over. Regardless, FUTTIES is usually a nice way to sign off, with the most juiced-up cards and several 99 OVR players.
Here's when it'll start this year for FC 25.
When will FUTTIES be released in FC 25?

We have no official dates on the FUTTIES release for FC 25. However, it'll likely begin on July 11, 2025, after Shapeshifter ends.
We'll get another Shapeshifter team on July 4, as confirmed in the in-game news menu, hinting at Team 4. That should see us almost through Season 8. Path to Glory will also continue with the Shapeshifter Team 4 later.
After Shapeshifter, FUTTIES will be next. The first team should go live on July 11 at the usual rest time of 10 AM PT (1 PM ET, 6 PM BST). Subsequent teams will be released every week on Friday at the same time.
What is FUTTIES in EA Sports FC?

FUTTIES is the final major promo of any EA FC game cycle, where we will get pink-colored cards of some of the most popular players. Many of them will be 99 OVR, and those are the ones you'll be chasing.
It works as any other promo; players will be released in batches of teams, and multiple teams will be released over a month or longer. There should be a good amount of menu grind with SBCs, Objectives, Upgrade Packs, and all the things we had in major promos like Team of the Year and Team of the Season.
One other notable thing is we'll get a "Best Of" batch of players as well. As the name suggests, it'll bring several of the most popular cards from the past promos of FC 25 to packs. Expect several popular TOTS, TOTY, and many other promo cards and Icons to be packable again.
Almost all popular players will get their FUTTIES card. This includes current high-profile ones like Kylian Mbappé, Aitana Bonmati, Jude Bellingham, Lamine Yamal, Alexia Putellas, and similar players.
Of course, you'll find Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi as well. They'll still be rated highly even if they don't play top-flight football anymore. Yesteryear legends will have their Icon promo cards as well.
If Team of the Season and past promos are anything to go by, though, packing top cards will be tough even though the game effectively winds down a couple of weeks after the promo.
Cards will drop through packs and will also be available as rewards in Objectives, SBCs, Season, and modes like Champions. Being a final promo means most top cards will be meta, and you'll need an almost all-pink team if you plan to play even after the release of the next game.
That's about everything you need to know about the schedule of the FUTTIES promo in FC 25. We'll keep you on loop as things are released.
