Just one day after the cover athlete reveal, EA Sports has unveiled the FC 27 Standard Edition cover, of course featuring cover star Kylian Mbappé.
It's a much more vibrant cover than previous ones, as it features club banners, stadiums, references to the game modes, and even an homage to the late great Diogo Jota.

For the first time in what feels like ages, the EA FC Standard Edition cover actually looks alive. Gone is the boring cover era, where you only had the cover star performing their signature pose.
In the FC 27 Standard Edition cover, you can see much more than the cover star, Kylian Mbappé, who is still the main attraction but not the only one.
The cover showcases The Grounds, EA FC's open-world mode.
In this open-world football district, we can see Iconic stadiums such as Wembley Stadium and Bernabéu Stadium, banners from the biggest clubs in world football like Liverpool and PSG, and a statue of Zidane, one of football's greatest icons.
EA Sports honours Diogo Jota by including the Diogo Jota FC Pro World Championship Trophy on the cover.
It's a nice touch from the company for a player who lived and breathed EA FC and was an active participant of it's professional circuit.
The FC 27 Standard Edition cover features over 30 easter eggs, which hint at what FC 27 has in store.
One of them is the Ultimate Edition Cover, which features Mbappé and his teammate Jude Bellingham.
