We got our first look at FC 27 last week with a trailer that provided a glimpse of gameplay and Career changes, as well as the brand-new The Grounds open world. 

Regardless of whether these early looks have you excited, the reveal means FC 26 will end its content support soon. FUTTIES is the final major promo, and there will be the Pre-Season afterwards but no new promo. 

Spending FC Points at this stage of the game might not be wise. Here's whether you should save them and if they carry over. 

Can You Transfer FC Points From FC 26 to FC 27?

Yes, your unused FC Points from FC 26 will carry over to FC 27. This has been the case for past and recent titles and is unlikely to change.

FC Points are generally the only item that is carried over and is only possible between subsequent titles. Meaning, if you played FC 25 and skipped FC 26, you won't find any leftovers from FC 25 when you boot up FC 27 later this year. 

Everything from coins, cards, packs, and records will reset. You'll still retain your old club name and establishment date from the last title.

Pre-Season in FC 26 should hand out some reward packs for FC 27. That and FC Points are the two things that can give you a decent head start on the game. 

How to Transfer FC Points From FC 26 to EA FC 27

If it works the same way as it did last year, you'll see the option to transfer your FC Points the first time you log in to your console or PC. Companion Apps do not work. 

As soon as you open Ultimate Team or online modes for FC 27, a pop-up should ask you whether you wish to transfer the points from the previous game. 

There will be three options: yes, no, and remind me later. Selecting "no" would mean you won't ever be able to transfer FC Points, so be careful. 

Here are other additional details to keep in mind:

  • It is a one-time transfer, meaning you cannot reverse it. 
  • FC Points only transfer between the same console family. You cannot carry over FC Points from Xbox to PlayStation 5.

So, all in all, if you want to transfer points, just log in and select yes once the pop-up appears.

There is no point in holding points in FC 26, as content support for it will end once FC 27 is live.
