Leaks Suggest Another Game
We aren't too far away from the April 2021 PS Plus announcement, but an eagle-eyed Redditor has spotted something pop up on the Japanese PlayStation Storefront ahead of this.

If you check out the Reddit post below, you can see that it looks like Sid Meier's Civilization VI is coming to PS Plus as the second free title for April 2021.
Although this is unconfirmed and there are reports that Civ VI is due to get a free-to-play weekend at some point in the future, but that doesn't stop this from being a fantastic title to pick up for free if it is added.
What Do Other People Think?
Everyone's got predictions, and we're not alone. The folks at Comicbook think both Resident Evil 7 and Mass Effect Andromeda could be on the way in the wake of the new releases for both series in the coming months.

They're all good guesses, sure, but the PS Plus titles don't have to be linked to the wider release schedule on the platform. Sometimes they're just "random" games!
PS Plus Release Date & Play At Home
March's PS Plus titles will be available until April 5th, with the next batch of games going live on April 6th.
In addition to the free games that will be given away to PS Plus subscribers, Sony will also be giving away 10 games to all PlayStation users as part of their Play At Home campaign.
Play At Home will be headlined by Horizon: Zero Dawn, which will be released on April 19th, so that rules it out of the predictions.

Here are the other free games that will be given away starting March 25, 2021:
- Abzû: A beautiful underwater adventure game
- Enter the Gungeon: A gunfight dungeon crawler
- Rez Infinite: A remastered version of the legendary action-shooter
- Subnautica: Adventure underwater on an alien ocean world
- The Witness: Explore a strange island of challenging puzzles
Play At Home will also make these four PlayStation VR games available on March 25:
- Astro Bot Rescue Mission: Go platforming in this daring rescue operation
- Moss: A single-player action-adventure puzzle game
- Thumper: Enjoy rhythm violence with a pounding original soundtrack
- Paper Beast: Experience a dreamlike odyssey in virtual reality
The Games
Each month Sony release at least two new PS4 games to the service, along with one PS5 game.

All of the PS4 games can also be played on PS5 via backwards compatibility.
So far we have seen PS5 games such as Worms Rumble, Maneater and Control, and Destruction All-Stars added to PS Plus.
Oddworld: Soulstorm
During a recent State of Play event, it was revealed that Oddworld: Soulstorm will be releasing on day one on PS Plus.

It is worth noting that only the PS5 version will be free, meaning PS4 players will need to buy the game.
But, the PS5 version can be claimed still and players can wait until they upgrade to next-gen before playing.
Here is some information on Oddworld: Soulstorm.
April 2021 Predictions
Here is what we think could be added this month.
No Man's Sky

No Man's Sky had a very rocky start, plagued by issues it was almost certain the game would go in the history books as one of the biggest flops of all time.
However, the developers weren't about to let all of their hard work go to waste and instead worked for years to make it the game they always envisioned.
Here is some more information about No Man's Sky.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

A breath of fresh air for the Star Wars franchise, Jedi: Fallen Order combined high action gameplay with satisfying adventuring, while also incorporating many elements from Souls style games.
Here is some information on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
Metro Exodus

It is surprising that Metro Exodus hasn't turned up on PS Plus yet.
The third game in the Metro trilogy, Exodus set the standard early on for what Ray Tracing could do on PC.
With a next-gen port coming soon, now would be the perfect time for players to check it out.
Here is some more information about Metro Exodus.
- Embark on an incredible journey - board the Aurora, a heavily modified steam locomotive, and join a handful of survivors as they search for a new life in the East
- Experience Sandbox Survival - a gripping story links together classic Metro gameplay with new huge, non-linear levels
- A beautiful, hostile world - discover the post-apocalyptic Russian wilderness, brought to life with stunning day / night cycles and dynamic weather
- Deadly combat and stealth - scavenge and craft in the field to customize your arsenal of hand-made weaponry, and engage human and mutant foes in thrilling tactical combat
- Your choices determine your comrades’ fate - not all your companions will survive the journey; your decisions have consequence in a gripping storyline that offers massive re-playability
- The ultimate in atmosphere and immersion - a flickering candle in the darkness; a ragged gasp as your gasmask frosts over; the howl of a mutant on the night wind - Metro will immerse and terrify you like no other game…
March 2021 Games
Here are the free games for March 2021 that players still have time to claim before April's games are released.

These are the PS Plus games for March 2021;
- Final Fantasy 7 Remake (PS4)
- Farpoint (PS4)
- Remnant: From The Ashes (PS4)
- Maquette (PS5)
It was rumoured that Final Fantasy 7 Remake would be coming to the service this month, then last night the PS5 upgrade was announced, so this is a perfect time to add the game to PS Plus.
Maquette will be this month's PS5 game, launching on the service on March 2nd, much like we've seen recently with Destruction All-Stars and Bugsnax.
Here is some more information about the games.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake

The world has fallen under the control of the Shinra Electric Power Company, a shadowy corporation controlling the planet’s very life force as mako energy.
In the sprawling city of Midgar, an anti-Shinra organization calling themselves Avalanche have stepped up their resistance. Cloud Strife, a former member of Shinra’s elite SOLDIER unit now turned mercenary, lends his aid to the group, unaware of the epic consequences that await him.
The story of this first, standalone game in the FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE project covers up to the party’s escape from Midgar, and goes deeper into the events occurring in Midgar than the original FINAL FANTASY VII.
Farpoint

It was meant to be a routine mission. Escort two scientists to The Pilgrim – a space station studying some anomaly at the edge of the universe. You remember seeing it now. A blinding flash. Alarms. Darkness. And then… the crash. Marooned on a hostile alien world, armed with the standard issue from the escape pod, you set off towards where The Pilgrim came down. Your only hope of getting home is to locate any survivors from the station while keeping yourself alive with precision accuracy.
Remnant: From The Ashes

Remnant: From the Ashes is a third-person survival action shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by monstrous creatures. As one of the last remnants of humanity, you’ll set out alone or alongside up to two other players to face down hordes of deadly enemies and epic bosses, and try to carve a foothold, rebuild, and then retake what was lost.
Maquette

Maquette is a first-person recursive puzzle game that takes you into a world where every building, plant, and object are simultaneously tiny and staggeringly huge. Maquette makes it possible by twisting the world into itself recursively in an MC Escher-esque fashion.
