PlayStation has just announced that their PSVR system will be coming to the PS5 console.
The next generation of Virtual Reality gameplay is almost here as Sony discuss their plans to improve PSVR going into their release of PSVR on PS5.
Here's all we know about what Sony has had to say about PSVR and the PS5.
PSVR Coming To PS5
It has been four years since the PSVR system launched on the PS4, offering a "transformative new way to play games" on the console.
Now, Sony is announcing that their popular PSVR system is making it's way to the next-generation of consoles and will appear on the PS5 in the future.
Senior Vice President, Platform Planning and Management Exec Hideo Nishino made the statement via the PlayStation Blog on February 23rd, 2021.

Release Date
At the moment, all we know is that the PSVR won't be launching for the PS5 in 2021.
Although this is a shame, it isn't the most surprising information considering this was a pretty unexpected announcement.

In addition to this, the PSVR system didn't release on the PS4 until quite a bit of time later.
New VR Controller
Sony has also confirmed that their new PSVR system will aim to incorporate some of the features available in the PlayStation 5's DualSense controller.

Aiming to once-again build a "future-proof" piece of technology, could the PSVR become a leading Virtual Reality platform with a PS5 release?
