How to Cash in Money in the Bank
There are three ways to cash in Money in the Bank in WWE 2K25: Announced cash-in, Post-Match cash-in, and Triple-Threat cash-in. The same options you had in WWE 2K24, but with slightly different names.
These three cash-in types can be used in Universe Mode, MyGM, and Play Now. It will allow you to crown a new champion, if you wish so, or create a schoking failed cash-in attempt, wich can be the start of an interesting storyline.
But first, you need to go to the Universe mode options and make sure you have an MITB holder. You can change the holder to whoever you wish or go with the default MITB holder.
After doing that, you need to choose which cash-in option you want to use. They vary significantly, as we will explain below, so keep that in mind.
Announced cash-in
This is the most standard and easy way to cash in Money in the Bank in WWE 2K25. You simply need to go to a match from the champion your MITB holder is targeting and select the announced cash-in option.
Once you do that, that match will turn into a main event match between the champion and the MITB holder. No suprise attack, no cash in when the champion just had a difficult match, just a good and honest 1v1 match for the title.
Triple-Threat cash-in
By using this cash-in method, the MITB holder will cash-in their title shot in the middle of a match, making it a Triple-Threat.
To do this, you want to go to a match of the champion you are targeting, press R3 to access Rival reactions, press Y or triangle to activate free mode, click add action, and then select the MITB Triple-Threat cash-in option.
After that, you select the third superstar that is going to be evolved in the match and press save. Then, just go to the match where the cash-in is going to happen and either play or simulate it.
Post-Match cash-in
To perform a Post-Match cash-in, where the MITB holder will attack the champions after their match, you need to follow the same steps mentioned above.
Then, when you click on adding a rival action, you select the Post-Match cash-in option. After that, simply choose an opponent for the champion, head to the match and either simulate or play it.
