Football Manager 2023 has arrived, at least for most people.
However, PS5 players have been left in the lurch following a delay and subsequent silence regarding a new release date.
With that in mind, we want to take a look at when Football Manager 2023 could show up on PlayStation 5.
FM23 PS5 Release Date Delayed
Sports Interactive has confirmed that they have made the difficult decision of delaying the scheduled release date for Football Manager 2023 on PS5.
In a statement, Football Manager boss Miles Jacobson said the following:
Sports Interactive has confirmed the decision has been made due to unforeseen complications which have arisen during the submissions and approvals process.
Football Manager 2023 on the PS5 now does not have an official release date.
Football Manager on PlayStation
For the first time ever, Football Manager is coming to PlayStation.
Football Manager 2021 represented a huge change for the series, with FM arriving on the Xbox One.
Following a strong run in the first year - and a continuation of that success with FM22 - Football Manager 2023 will continue on Xbox consoles this year.
Sports Interactive will now look to translate that success into PS5 this year after confirming the game will be available on the next-gen platform.
