WWE has announced their upcoming European dates for the Road to Clash in Paris Tour. Surprisingly, Scotland (and London) does not appear to have made the cut among the places that have been listed.

The Road to Clash in Paris kicks off on August 22 and runs until August 29. During this time, WWE superstars will appear in cities across the UK in preparation for the PLE, which will take place in France on August 31.

The events look to feature big names, including Cody Rhodes, Gunther, Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, and others.

The official WWE UK account on X shared the dates earlier today, and many fans were surprised that Scotland had been left off the schedule altogether.

The WWE has brought live RAW and SmackDown to Scotland in the past. Next week's RAW, on the 24th, will take place in Glasgow at the OVO Hydro.

Here is the planned Road to Clash in Paris schedule:

  • Friday 22 August - SmackDown - Dublin, UK
  • Saturday 23 August - WWE Live - Liverpool, UK
  • Monday 25 August - RAW - Birmingham, UK
  • Tuesday 26 August - WWE Live - Manchester, UK
  • Wednesday 27 August - WWE Live - Leeds, UK
  • Thursday 28 August - WWE Live - Cardiff, UK
  • Friday 29 August - SmackDown - Lyon, France

Flights to the UK, Ireland, and France

If you're itching to attend RAW, SmackDown, or WWE Live this August, make sure you grab flight tickets while you can.

Interestingly, Gunther and Cody Rhodes are seen in the image without their WWE championship belts. Could this indicate that they will lose their titles before the August PLE?

John Cena, recently teaming up with The Rock to force his way into WrestleMania, could defeat The American Nightmare at next month's Showcase of the Immortals. While Jey Uso looks set on his path to golden glory as he takes on Gunther in the biggest match of his career.

The omission of London on the Road to Clash in Paris schedule is even more surprising, as the capital city regularly hosts WWE live events.

We are sure that both Scotland and London will see further WWE events down the line, with the latter being a prime candidate for a future WrestleMania if negotiations go well.

Thankfully, WWE is gearing up for this year's WrestleMania, which has scheduled dates in Scotland and London. However, after the Road to Clash in Paris announcement, fans in those areas won't see their favourite superstars compete locally this August.

On the positive side, since WWE is now on Netflix, those unable to attend can watch RAW and Smackdown at 'special times' live on the streaming giant.
