Rematch is almost here, and players are excited for the 5v5 competitive football title from Sloclap. The game requires players to have quick reactions, as the smallest decision can turn the tide.
In Rematch, Skill Moves are the flashiest way to express yourself, and when they're timed right, they can turn out to be deadly tools to break through tight defenses. But unlike other football games that are heavily dependent on animation, Rematch requires players to have both skill and timing to master these moves.
Continue reading as we explore how you can pull off every major skill move in Rematch and make your opponents look silly.
Directional Dribbling

These moves are the most basic in dribbling. To perform a directional dribble, you'll need to hold H2 and press X, then move the left stick in your desired direction.
These moves are ideal for misleading an opponent and providing an out-of-sight tackle. You can also try clicking left or right if the other team is sliding on you from the front or backwards if you are about to get crunched.
Rainbow Flick

This street-style kick looks flashy and is perfect to create space from the defender. This move flicks the ball upwards from behind the leg and then arcs it over the opponent's head, giving you a clear path to the goal.
To perform a Rainbow Flick, hold R1 and tap X. It's a skill best used when getting possession of the ball against an oncoming defender, and if timed perfectly, you may have a chance to score a goal with this move.
Juggling Combo

This is one of the most stylish moves in the game, but it's ot showcased in the tutorial. Performing a well-timed Juggling Combo will allow you to continually juggle the ball all the way down the pitch.
For juggling the ball, you'll have to perform a Rainbow Kick first, i.e., pressing R1+X. Then keep holding R1 to let the ball bounce, and when it flashes green, tap X to juggle. To continue juggling further, repeat the green flash with X while holding R1 to keep the ball alive.
Pro Tip: If you press R2 in the middle of a juggle, you'll be able to perform a volley shot before the ball touches the ground.
