The MLB The Show 25 player ratings were revealed in the Ratings Reveal Special, which was hosted by Robert Flores and Kait Maniscalco, who revealed the top five players on every team.
It allowed fans to finally know which are the highest-rated players in MLB The Show 25, the top five players on every team, and get a sneak peek of their attributes.
There are plenty of new faces on this year's top ten, with even the top three looking quite different. Without further ado, let's take a look at the best players in MLB The Show 25.
Top 10 Players in MLB The Show 25
Every player rating in MLB The Show 25 is impacted by last year's performance. That's why some players dropped out of the top ten, and new names were added to it.

Last year, the coveted 99 OVR Club had five members, a number that was reduced to just three in MLB The Show 25. The club also has a new member, one that New York Yankees fans have no love lost for.
Shohei Otani - 99 OVR
Another year, another 99 OVR for the Los Angeles Dodger, and now World Series winner Shohei Otani.
The face of the MLB is considered by many the best baseball player of all time, and year after year, his stats prove why. Otani is the best two-way player in the league, so it's only right that he has a 99 OVR in MLB The Show 25
Juan Soto - 99 OVR
The new addition to the 99 OVR Club is none other than Juan Soto, the main protagonist in one of the biggest baseball off-season soap operas ever, as he left the New York Yankees for their town rivals, the New York Mets.

Sorry, Yankees fans, but I did warn you.
Aaron Judge – 99 OVR
The other returning member of the 99 OVR Club is Aaron Judge, now arguably the New York Yankees' only superstar. Judge has been one of the best players in the MLB for years. Last season, he won the MVP and helped the Yankees reach the World Series.
While Aaron Judge's performances in the World Series weren't on an MVP level, there is no doubt Judge is a special player and more than deserves a place in the 99 OVR Club.
Ketel Marte – 96 OVR
Ketel Marte is one of the new faces in the top 10, and the Arizona Diamondbacks superstar second base enters the top ten in style, placing fourth in this year's ranking.

Marte is coming off a fantastic 2024 season, making the All-Star and the All-MLB First Team. Diamondbacks fans are hoping he can continue this form in the upcoming season.
Mike Trout – 96 OVR
Mike Trout and top ten are synonyms, as the Los Angeles Angels superstar outfielder has been one of the best players in the MLB for a very long time. Many fans and players consider Trout to be one of the greatest of all time.
Unfortunately, Trout suffered a serious torn meniscus injury in 2024 that required him to get surgery and sidelined him for most of the season. Hopefully, Trout will be back and better than ever this upcoming season.
Bobby Witt Jr - 96 OVR
Bobby Witt Jr from the Kansas City Royals comes in sixth place and is one of the new faces in the top ten list. Witt Jr.'s 2024 season was nothing short of amazing, with the Royals shortstop recording an impressive 211 hits.
It's always great to see a rising star enter the top ten list, and Bobby Witt Jr has proved he deserves a place among the best of the best in MLB The Show 25.
Mookie Betts - 95 OVR
In seventh place, we have Mookie Betts from the Los Angeles Dodgers. Betts is also a regular in the MLB The Show top ten, and in 2024, he won his third World Series title, the second as a Los Angeles Dodgers player.

While 95 OVR is a fantastic rating, Mookie Betts was part of the 99 OVR Club in MLB The Show 24, so this is a huge drop for the Los Angeles Dodgers superstar.
Francisco Lindor - 95 OVR
Coming in at number eight, we have yet another New York Mets star, Francisco Lindor. The player many consider the best shortstop in the MLB is also a new addition to the top 10.
Lindor had a great 2024 season, making the All-MLB Second Team and winning the Silver Slugger Award for the second straight year.
Bryce Harper - 95 OVR
Another new face in this year's top 10 list is Bryce Harper, the Philadelphia Phillies veteran first baseman.
Just like Francisco Lindor, Harper made the All-MLB Second Team and won the Silver Slugger Award in 2024. He was also selected for the All-Star.
Jose Ramirez - 95 OVR
Last, but certainly not least, we have Jose Ramirez, the third baseman from the Cleveland Guardians, who closes the MLB The Show 25 top ten list.
Ramirez had an incredible 2024 season, making the All-Star team for the sixth time, being selected for the All-MLB First Team for the first time in his career, and winning the Silver Slugger Award for the fifth time.
