Superstar mode is returning in Madden 26, as expected, allowing players to experience the life of an NFL player, with all its ups and downs, challenges, and glory, on and off the field.

The mode has received new features that aim to make it more immersive, realistic, and enjoyable. Players can still import their College Football 26 RTG character, with the feature receiving a few improvements.

Without further ado, let's find out what new things the Superstar mode has in store for us in Madden 26.

In Madden 26, Superstar mode received quality of life improvements, more compelling story narratives, and the addition of "Career Chapters". The latter is a feature that makes player progress in the NFL, from bench player to starter to a superstar, more authentic.

The mode continues to put a big emphasis on off-the-field activities, as players need to manage their relationship with coaches, teammates, fans, agents, and more.

Similar to what also happens in the Franchise mode, players need to be aware of their Wear & Tear and take care of their bodies to be in the best condition possible come Sunday.

New and exciting Live events will be added throughout the year to Superstar Showdown, the mode that allows players to test their character against other players' characters.

But the biggest addition announced so far is the return of the Online Head-to-Head Minigames mode. This will give players another way to experience the Superstar mode, hone their skills, and upgrade their characters.

More information about all of these features and others that still haven't been announced will be revealed in the upcoming Madden 26 Superstar Deep Dive, which is expected to take place in July.

Hopefully, EA Sports will announce some massive new features; otherwise, Superstar mode will likely just be a slightly improved version of the mode, and the gap to Franchise mode and Ultimate Team will widen even more.
