- Quick Answer: The GOALS Global Esports Circuit is a competitive ecosystem featuring online Majors, a grassroots community program, and elite offline Masters tournaments starting with the Stockholm Open.
GOALS has just announced its Esports ecosystem, which will focus on "skill, competitive integrity, and community-driven growth."
The GOALS Esports circuit was built from the ground up, with sustainability being one of its pillars. It aims to provide players from all levels with an "inclusive competitive scene."
GOALS Global Esports Circuit Explained

The GOALS Esports circuit comprises two major tournaments: Masters and Champions.
GOALS Majors are online tournaments held throughout the year, where players from the top 500 on the leaderboard face off for qualification points and glory.
GOALS Masters is the crown jewel of this Esports circuit. It's an offline tournament where the best in the world battle each other for an undisclosed prize pool and prestige.
Players can secure their Masters spots via qualification points, which are earned by performing admirably in previous GOALS Majors events.
The Top 500 qualifier stages are the only other way to secure a ticket to GOALS Masters.
A Grassroots Approach to Esports
The GOALS Global Esports Circuit isn't only focused on the professional circuit, as the ecosystem is open and encourages community participation.
It does so by providing smaller organizers the tools to organize regional tournaments, amateur events, and local leagues.
Both community organizers and creators will gain access to tournament tools, advanced broadcast features, and rewards, including official prize pools for community-run tournaments.
The goal is clear: give community organizers, creators, and smaller tournament organizers all the tools they need to succeed, and create a grassroots community in the process.
But that's not all; GOALS is also committed to "uplifting marginalized communities within gaming" and will invest resources in those same communities or organizations that support them to ensure that happens.
The First Tournament is Already Around the Corner!

GOALS Open will mark the beginning of the GOALS Global Esports Circuit.
Players from around the world can qualify for this event, with the Regional Pre-Qualifiers taking place from August 7-9.
The winners from each Regional Pre-Qualifier will advance to the Regional Finals, which will occur from August 14-16.
The Regional Finals will be divided by the following territories:
- Europe & Africa
- Americas
- Asia, Middle East & Pacific
The best performers from each region will earn a ticket to the GOALS Open Grand Finals, a 10k-prize-pool event taking place in Stockholm, Sweden, on September 1.
GOALS Open registration opens on July 20, and as mentioned above, players from across the globe can register for the Regional Pre-Qualifiers.
More information about the tournament, including the eligibility requirements, will be revealed in the upcoming weeks.
