When Will GOALS Be Released?
GOALS is scheduled for a full release in 2026. While the developers haven't confirmed any specific launch date, they are actively updating the alpha build and hosting community playtests via Steam. This indicates that the development is steadily progressing towards its release window.
What Platforms Will GOALS Be Available On?
The game is expected to launch on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5, with full cross-platform player support. Also, the developers recommend playing the game with the controller for the best experience.
What Can Players Expect from GOALS’ Gameplay?
GOALS, built from the ground up for esports, focuses on ultra-responsive gameplay with minimum input delay, mainly due to its proprietary Simulation Engine Technology (SENTEC). The 1v1 online mode is already available, and a 5v5 mode is on the way.
Players will also be able to build unique squads, earn in-game currency through matches, and train footballers with various attributes and appearances.
Some of the new mechanics are first-time shots, flick passes, better passing logic, and an agility system designed to add realism to movement and tackles. A "swap feature" is also available that allows trading players at the retirement system ,in which former players become club legends.
