Following the recent playtest program, Sports Interactive has updated fans on when and what they expect from Football Manager 27

Football Manager 27 To Release In November, Deep Dives Expected Soon

Senior Community Manager Chris Groves shared details on the upcoming Football Manager 27 and where the project is currently.

The first thing confirmed in the announcement is that Football Manager 27 will release on the usual November schedule. An exact date hasn't been announced yet.

"We're evolving the current design whilst restoring ideas and behavior you value, and that worked well in previous editions," said Chris.

One of the goals is to make Football Manager 27 easier to navigate. Given how atrocious and clunky FM26's UI was to navigate, this is something that needed to change.

Sports Interactive also noted that the idea is to create a game that players want to "play again and again."

We will have to wait until September to see if these changes and new improvements are meaningful. There will be deep dives, breakdowns, and behind-the-scenes content for the game then.

Overall, it's the familiar statement that suggests developers are learning from their mistakes and focusing on player feedback.

The game recently opened up playtesting and will soon expand the program with remote testing sessions. With the November release window approaching, FM27 is clearly entering the final stages of development.

Developers have not confirmed anything else about the upcoming sim. No platforms, pre-orders, or other finer details were shared.

Sports Interactive is generally tight-lipped about their games before release, with no major player communication. An announcement like this is welcomed and perhaps a first step in the right direction to restore player trust.

Of course, we will update you as more details on the game are confirmed.
