Destined for Glory is confirmed to start after early access on September 25, 2026. Every new campaign goes live on Friday at 6 PM BST / 10 AM PT.

EA also confirmed that the promo will run until October 9, 2026. That means we should expect two squads. 

FC 27 Destined for Glory Confirmed Team 1 Players

Destined for Glory will feature 15 players per squad release. Five of them have been confirmed so far:

• Kylian Mbappé (ST)
• Alexander Isak (ST)
• Morgan Rogers (CAM)
• Bryan Mbeumo (RM)
• Mateus Fernandes (CM)

Players were selected by fan voting, alongside EA's own picks. Of course, you all voted for Mbappé first, so his inclusion is far from surprising.

FC 27 Destined for Glory Upgrades Explained

Destined for Glory players will receive upgrades throughout the football season. The improvements depend on their contribution and team results, and counting for the same will start on September 18.

Attackers and defenders will have different contribution requirements.

Midfielders and Attackers (CM, CAM, LM, LW, RM, RW, ST)

Defensive Midfielders and Defenders (CDM, CB, LB, RB)

These requirements will take a good while to fulfill. It's unlikely that most cards remain relevant until then.
