- Primary Subject: Centre Stage Evolution in EA Sports FC 27.
- Key Update: Applies a huge +10 Overall rating jump alongside physical (+30 Strength, Stamina, Aggression, Jumping) and defensive stat bumps.
- Status: Live.
- Last Verified: October 16, 2026
- Quick Answer: While the physical and defensive stat boosts look solid on paper, the severe jump up to an 85 rating locks your card out of future, higher-tier evolution chains. Generally, skip this unless you're short-term upgrading top base options like Camavinga, Thuram, or Ortega (TOTW)
Centre Stage is a defensive-mid focused Evolution in FC 27. It does have some decent stat upgrades, but a +10 OVR for the improvements feels underwhelming. Getting a card to 85 will mean you'll have to wait months before it's eligible for a chain.
The stats are nowhere near good enough to make any card last that long. You can still do it and remove the Evolution when a newer, better one arrives.
All that said, here are the best players for Centre Stage Evolution in FC 27.
Best players for Centre Stage Evolution in FC 27
The five standout players for Centre Stage Evolution are:
- Sara Ortega (Team of the Week)
- Lewis Miley (Squad Foundation)
- Eduardo Camavinga (Gold)
- Yannik Engelhardt (Team of the Week)
- Khéphren Thuram (Gold)
Because of the restrictions, there aren't many eligible players, and a big overall boost also means this isn't a perfect Evolution for long-term chain potential.
There aren't any major standout players with unique profiles, like someone tall or someone with multiple excellent PlayStyles, worth investing in. Even among all our picks, none are truly remarkable despite having well-rounded stats and PS.
We generally recommend skipping this Evolution. Unless you plan to do it and remove it in the future after a good one arrives.
