The FC 26 gameplay deep dive announced numerous significant changes coming to the game, including the removal of time finishing, the addition of competitive and authentic gameplay presets, and a brand-new camera designed specifically for competitive game modes.
This camera will be exclusive to Ultimate Team Stadiums at launch, but it may be added to other modes in the future, such as Clubs and possibly even Career mode.
FC 26 UT Competitive Camera
The brand new camera coming in FC 26 is called the UT Competitive camera, and as the name indicates, it was created specifically for Ultimate Team, EA FC's most popular mode. This camera allows players to have a wider view of the pitch, making sure they can see everything that is happening, while still being able to see the stadiums, fans, and appreciate the atmosphere.
Developers also revealed the camera is on a rail, to make sure it ensure "more predictable pad angle behavior to aid Competitive Gameplay". It's not a game-changing feature, but a solid addition, and one that makes players no longer need to tweak the camera settings to get a full view of the pitch.
As mentioned further above, the UT Competitive camera is only available for Ultimate Team stadiums in FC 26, at least at launch. However, there is a chance this camera will be added to other modes in the future, especially if it's well-received by Ultimate Team players.
