Like the previous games, FC 26 will block certain players from entering the Transfer Market, whether all thanks to Graduated Access. Instead, the feature has to be earned if you are a new player or your account is not in good standing.

Here's what it actually means and how to unlock the Transfer Market in FC 26

Graduated Access limits some accounts from accessing the Transfer Market in FC 26. Previously, it was only restricted to PC, but now it'll be active for all platforms.

This is typically only for those who are playing the FUT modes for the first time or those who have previously broken some rules, like illegally buying coins, using any automation tools to snipe players off the market cheaply, or something along those lines.

Per EA, it is in place to "protect the economy from potential rules-breaking activity while ensuring that actual new players are introduced to FUT at a more measured pace."

Of course, it means if you're a regular player and have never done anything naughty, you'll probably get access right off the bat.

To unlock the Transfer Market in FC 26, you'll have to complete a series of "Foundation Objectives." You can check it in the Objective section, and there will be other rewards for completing the same.

FC 25 had ten tasks you needed to complete, with each being simple, like playing 5 matches across FUT modes.

After completing the Objective, as EA noted in their deep dive, you'll have to wait for a "period of time" to pass.

Likewise, if it all follows like previous games, you'll have to "earn" access for the Web and Companion Apps, too. The rules for them are a bit stricter, and you'll need to keep in check with these pointers:

  • Your account history and whether it’s in good standing by following the EAS FC rules.
  • The number of Ultimate Team accounts you’re using on the same device.
  • The number of active days you’ve played Ultimate Team™.
  • An active day is when you’ve played three full matches in Ultimate Team™ and logged in to the Web or Companion App within a calendar day, following UTC time zones, per Ultimate Team™ account.
  • Learn how to set up EAS FC Playtime to see your time spent and matches played.

All in all, Graduated Access will restrict new and rule-breaking players from accessing the Transfer Market in FC 26. However, a simple completion of the Foundation Objective and patience will grant them access back.
