Here we are again, seven months on from the release of FC 25, and EA has confirmed that another investigation into a major stability issue is underway.

This particular issue is impacting Career Mode, and more specifically, manual or auto-saves from April 16, 9:00am UTC to April 22, 6:54pm UTC. It somehow gets worse as the issue is also affecting saves that were created beforehand, but then used again during the above time period.

In a post on X, the official EA SPORTS FC Direct Communication account announced that an investigation into the matter was underway, before providing further clarity about the cause.

Unsurprisingly, the update from EA received mixed reactions. Some fans were relieved that a fix was finally being worked on, while others couldn't help but take amusement from the situation, citing just how many errors the company seems to make every day.

The announcement of EA's investigation came just as the FC 25 Web App also went down for many users, increasing anger and disappointment even further among the community.

At the time of writing, the Career Mode stability issue is still being looked into, and a timeframe for a potential fix has not been disclosed so far. Players wanting to keep up to date can do so by checking the EA SPORTS FC Direct Communication account on X or the EA SPORTS FC Tracker on Trello.
